Staying in Samaniego gives you the opportunity to combine a village guesthouse with a visit to the family’s winemaking world. The experience starts with choosing your accommodation dates and checking which winery visits can be arranged during your stay.

Stone, concrete and modern winemaking
The winery’s story brings together historic stone cellars, concrete vats and stainless-steel tanks. These different spaces help explain how winemaking has evolved across generations. Alútiz is especially associated with young wines made using carbonic maceration. Ask about the current visit programme to find out which spaces and wines form part of the experience you book.

How to arrange accommodation and a tasting
First check room availability, then contact us with your dates, group size and preferred visit language. We can help you establish what is available before you finalise your plans. A room reservation does not automatically reserve a tour or tasting. Duration, price, wines served and language must be confirmed for the specific experience.

Make it a two-night wine break
Arrive in Samaniego, settle into your room and leave time to explore the village. Plan your winery experience for the following day, with time afterwards for lunch and the surrounding landscape. With a third night, add another village or a gentler day at your own pace. These are itinerary suggestions, not fixed-price packages; each service must be booked and confirmed separately.
